You did a great job with this tile based spawn system, whice made my spawning job ALOT easier.

But, it would be nice if i also could make spawns where i define tiles it should NOT spawn on.

Ex.

Say i have an area that contains ( Jungle, Forest, Grass, Sand, Swamp ), and i want the mobile to spawn on everything BUT Swamp. It would be easier if i could say "Spawn on everything BUT Swamp tiles".

That would make the new tiles based system even more powerful.

There are many more uses where being able to tell on what not to spawn.

Oh, another reason to be able to be able to tell on what not to spawn is for performance boost. I noticed tile based spawns take alot longer than normal (for obvious reason) for large spawn areas with lots of mobs.

Ex.

Say i have the same scenario as in the example above. There the spawner has to check for the defined tiles one after the other. First is looks if we have a Jungle tile, if not it goes to the Forest tile, and so on. If i instead told it not to spawn on Swamp, it just had to check if it was Swamp, and if not, then spawn the mob. Will save some CPU cycles.

yeah, I thought about that. Maybe in the next release. Keep an eye on the beta update.

check out the v3.15 beta. Added the #NOTILES spawn control keyword.
