It would be good to have support for "Rune Word" items, a la Diablo 2. Essentially, when specific runes/gems are slotted in a specific order, the item becomes a special "named" item with entirely new effects. (The runes are essentially a recipe for a custom item).
This would be a cool way to tie some of the existing artifacts in UO to the socketing system.

Along those same lines make it possible to add "Set" items that add additional specials when you are wearing a complete Set (like ML properties and like Dragon Armor used to be way back when).
Another suggestion (if it's already possible then please disregard):
Add a way to make it so that XML Attack/Defense is able to be done via sockets. Like special socket gems/items that make a new special attack/defense for weapons/shields...

yes, that is already in there. The Rune augmentations in runeaugments.cs do that.
