i have two questions first one is today i realized in my shard that guards sometimes dont do their work (kill) quickly.sometimes they dont come or come late when a some one makes a criminal act.for example today in my shard a person brings a creature from forest to luna bank but the guards dont kill it.is there a way to set guard sensivity ?

second question is a bug that i found
when a player poison himself he cant bandage himself without his hp go down.his status color turn green when poisoned but cant bandage without poison gets hp from him.this is very annoying.

For the first problem, I don't really know anything useful to say... were people actually shouting for the guards?

The second one sounds like what's meant to happen when a players dex isn't high enough to apply a bandage faster than the poison ticks. Bandages apply on yourself slower than on another person on purpose to try and get people to cross heal each other. Try it on a staff character with really high dex and see if you can do it, and get people to try healing each other when poisoned and see if that helps them.

the guards some times down to players head later or never do it.the other thing is not related with dex.whatevet dex is be it always do it.

I still don't really know what you mean with the guards issue - when the player brought a monster into town, did anybody shout Guards?


As for the healing thing, it definitely is related to dex unless you've modified related files. I just tested and at 180 dex I can cure right as the poison ticks. With 250 it applies instantly.

Have you made any modifications to files that deal with healing? bandage.cs for example? Or have you got any changes which make your poison tick faster than usual?

when a player brings a creature to the town npcs should automaticly call guards but they dont do that.and when the player says guards there is no guards.

If your refering to RunUO (assuming you are) I dont believe there is any support with Vendors or TownFolk for calling guards like OSI. I have not played on OSI in a long time, so I am not even sure they still do there, either.

As to your dex involved, I was never aware that Dex had anything to do with the Guards reactions.

I think you're right about guards not even getting called by NPCs on RunUO. I'd go and check but we use Greystar's killable guards so it would be fairly pointless to try and test it, heh :/ But if players call for guards and they still don't come that definitely sounds like a problem...


And dex doesn't have anything to do with guards - it has to do with the second part of his first post about poison and bandages. wink.gif

in runuo npcs call guards.you are wrong about this issue.
