Here we go again. Found anoter bug ( at least i suspect it is ).

When i am working with placing spawners in SE2, i usually enter a MaxCount smaller than the total amount of objects in the Spawn Entries section. Meaning the total Max count is larger than the MaxCount of the spawner.

I do this to get some randomness in the spawns for that area. But i have encountered a very anoying bug/feture. When i have finished editing one spawner, and then add a new one, i notice that the MaxCount of the previous spawner sometimes reset to the total Max amount of the Spawn Entries. I have even noticed that this on rare occations hapens to spawners i have worked even further back in time. But mostly it happens to the last spawner i was working with, prior to the new one.

So the only thing i can do is go back and set the MaxCount back to the correct value again, and save.

But what makes it even more irritating is the fact that this even works when i go back and edit a spawner, the same thing happens with the previous spawner. So sometimes it kind of feels like all i am doing is reseting MaxCounts back to what they are supposed to be, and not the total of all the Spawn Entries.

After keeping an eye on it for a while, i found a good pattern to recreate it.

1. Set up a spawner with lower MaxCount than the total Spawn Entries "Max".
2. With the spawner selected, draw a new spawner area.
3. Look at last spawner, most of the time the MaxCount should have changed back to total Max.

But as i said, sometimes spawns i havn't worked on for awhile also change back. Maybe after i have selected them briefly. Im not exactly sure how to recreate that one.

Oh, i noticed this when i had about 7 spawns or similar. Doubt that makes a difference though.

yes, it does try to autocalculate the overall spawner maxcount when you add or change spawns, but I will check the conditions that you describe to see what is happening.
