xmlspawner/bluebutton.gif Greetz and Welcomes to all you SpawnerFans!

It's been a little while since I reminded everyone that I am still alive and kicking. I've been fighting the never ending fight with mild to severe depression type stuff. Being that I've never been profeesionally evaluated I'm not exactly sure where I stand on the scale. I'm starting to think that I suffer from "Major depressive disorder brought on by Dysthymia."

QUOTE (www.depression.com)

Dysthymia is another mood disorder. People who have it may feel mildly depressed on most days over a period of at least two years. They have many symptoms resembling major depression, but with less severity.

Symptoms of depression may surface with other mood disorders. They include seasonal major depression (also known as seasonal affective disorder), postpartum depression, and bipolar disorder.

QUOTE (www.depression.com)

Major depressive disorder, commonly referred to as "depression," can severely disrupt your life, affecting your appetite, sleep, work, and relationships.

The symptoms that help a doctor identify depression include:

xmlspawner/done2.gif constant feelings of sadness, irritability, or tension
xmlspawner/done2.gif decreased interest or pleasure in usual activities or hobbies
xmlspawner/done2.gif loss of energy, feeling tired despite lack of activity
xmlspawner/unchecked2.gif a change in appetite, with significant weight loss or weight gain
xmlspawner/done2.gif a change in sleeping patterns, such as difficulty sleeping, early morning awakening, or sleeping too much
xmlspawner/done2.gif restlessness or feeling slowed down
xmlspawner/done2.gif decreased ability to make decisions or concentrate
xmlspawner/done2.gif feelings of worthlessness, hopelessness, or guilt
xmlspawner/unchecked2.gif thoughts of suicide or death

If you are experiencing any or several of these symptoms, you should talk to your doctor about whether you are suffering from depression.

If you are in an immediate serious crisis please contact your doctor or go to your local hospital or emergency room.

Now I don't want anyone to worry to much about me. I'm not in any way suicidal, just not a very happy person.

Moving along, I've had my MySpace page for ages but never fu*#%ng used it. I still think it's dumb, but I still ended up spending a good 5 hours today working on my page. I still haven't gotten around to any REAL blogging, but I do plan to.

I also set up a MySpace group for XMLSpawnerFan and all you minions to express your inner most desire's and embarrasing emotion's as a pop/trend whore style union of minds.

This is GodFood sayin Ciao, hope you die deep in the dungeon's from sinister sequential spawns brought forth by your loving and adoring GM's.

Godfood.

Hi Godfood,

You should definately see your doctor about this. Depression is a medical condition and it CAN be treated through medication and/or therapy.

Hope you are feeling better soon. Don't let things get you down. And please take my advice and see your doctor, it is a very common problem and nothing to be ashamed about. And seeing your doctor can change your life for the better!!

Take care bud!

I use to take meds for depression... I never wanted to commit suicide though. I was holding out in hopes that someone would break into my house and kill me. That way if there really was a heaven and hell I wouldn't be sent to hell for killing myself. (I was questioning a lot of things at that time)

Now that I'm an admin on a relatively successful shard... I just look for people afk training pets on dangerous creatures... Then I just change the combatant to the player. biggrin.gif That cheers me up for a little while.

ROFL, ahh... the good 'Ol day's. Or harrasing tamers in dungeons with their pet's doing all the fighting for them. That's another good time to change the combatant to the players smile.gif.
